Yoga Offerings

My teaching focuses on gentle, accessible yoga poses that support all body types, paired with meditation techniques that use prompts and breathwork to calm the nervous system. I believe in creating a space where everyone feels supported, comfortable, and at ease—whether you’re new to the practice or experienced.

Yin Yoga

Unwind, release, and restore with this calming one-hour practice that blends the deep stretch of Yin yoga with the nurturing support of restorative postures. Yin begins with grounding breathwork and a few moments of mindfulness to help you settle into stillness. Postures are held for 3-4 minutes, gently targeting deeper connective tissues like ligaments, joints, fascia, and bones. These longer holds encourage the release of gripping and bracing patterns, helping improve flexibility, reduce inflammation, and promote lasting mobility.

Throughout the practice, guided relaxation, breathwork options, and gentle intention setting help calm the nervous system and deepen your connection to the present moment. Whether you’re looking to recover, de-stress, or simply find some stillness, Yin yoga invites you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with yourself. All levels are welcome.

Restorative Yoga

The guiding principle of restorative yoga is that support creates release.
Every shape or pose you do in a restorative class is a variation on that theme, and the aim of each shape is the same: Relaxation

The practice creates a deeply rejuvenating experience through the many shapes and techniques that literally hold you as you let go.
In a restorative yoga session there is an array of props: blankets, bolsters and blocks to support the body to release muscular tension.

Students are encouraged to let go of mental stress and maximize the benefits of physical relaxation, making the experience a full body-mind-spirit experience.

Restorative Yoga is profound in its ability to reach all people and take them to a completely still place. Not just stillness in the body, but also in the mind.

Restorative Yoga creates a safe container for stillness.

In letting go you return to your natural condition of ease and peace, which is the true antidote to stress and disease.

Settle into deep surrender in this Restorative class. This class focuses on calming the nervous systems with passive poses, each held for a minimum of 5-10 minutes, allowing for rest and relaxation. Come and unwind and allow your body, mind, and spirit be supported in our healing space.
