Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world’s oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.

It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. Treatments and may be geared toward specific health problems.

Join Lena for this insightful workshop as she guides you through the Ayurveda system of the five elements that make up the universe and how they effect everyone — vayu (air), jala (water), akash (space), teja (fire), and prithvi (earth).

Inner Compass Yoga

Yoga isn’t something I do, it’s a way of being, not something to try to attain, reach for or seek outside of ourselves, the path begins inwardly with the self. I have been practising yoga for 20 years now and teaching it for over 7.

I strongly believe in the teachings and wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda, which has been a large part of my healing journey. On a very simple and basic level, we are nature, we are not separate, we are all interconnected. I have a deep love and passion for the body and mind and helping people realize their own potential and capacity to heal themselves. Through meditation, mindfulness, Ayurveda, energy, pranayama and yoga therapy practices and tools, I hope to help empower individuals to connect with their hearts and deepen their self-love and acceptance to recognize their own innate wisdom and ability to heal themselves.
