Creative Journaling For Self-Care

Creative journaling is one of my favourite ways to demonstrate self-care. In fact, I include it as a workshop in my annual retreats.

It’s an effective way of getting rid of stress while helping identify and define different feelings that often come up in our day-to-day.

But there is some hesitancy around journaling. This is especially true if you’re new to the whole process.

What should I write?
What if I don’t have anything to write about?

I’m terrible at putting ideas on paper…

These are some of the most common thoughts that are tied to the challenges behind creative journaling.

The truth is, there’s really no right or wrong way to journal!

The magic of journaling is that you have complete ownership of your thoughts and what you choose to write.

But I understand that even with this in mind, it can still be difficult to know what to write about. Luckily, my beautiful and talented friend and uBlossom workshop facilitator, Nicolle Nattrass, can help us with our creative journaling, writer’s block.
