Letting Go Of 2022: New Year Beginnings
As we wrap up 2022, a year filled with challenges, heartache, and expansion-I find myself drawn back to a poem that fills me with awe every time I read it.
Let go of the ways you thought life
would unfold; the holding of plans or dreams
or expectations – Let it all go.
Save your strength to swim with the tide.
The choice to fight what is here before you now
will only result in struggle, fear, and desperate attempts
to flee from the very energy you long for. Let go.
Let it all go and flow with the grace
that washes through your days whether
you receive it gently or with all your quills raised
to defend against invaders.
Take this on faith; the mind may never
find the explanations that it seeks, but you will move forward nonetheless.
Let go, and the waves crest will carry you to unknown shores
beyond your wildest dreams or destinations.
Let it all go and find the place of rest in peace, and certain transformation.

As we let go of 2022, let’s welcome the new year with openness and a commitment to reconnecting with our inner compass and start 2023 on a new path to amplify and transform.
Let’s focus on what we want instead of what we don’t want. How do we do this? We drop into meditation below the mental chatter. Let go of the judgements and stories we tell ourselves and discover our love, our essence. It’s always been there; no one can take it away. We need to listen; it will guide us through life’s challenges.
Join me each month for meditation, and together we will honour and nourish our mind, body and spirit.
Registration for our January meditation group is open, and I have added a few extra classes for those who prefer an evening or lunchtime meditation break. You have access to all the lessons and two pre-recorded classes that you can do anytime. I have also added a 90-day meditation challenge from January 4-March 31.
