April works as a professional artist creating bold and unique works inspired by west coast nature using acrylic paint on canvas and wood. April is also a Registered Nurse and now focuses mostly on her art business working just 1 day a week as a Diabetes Educator Nurse in the community. April loves to use bold colours and clean line work to tell the story of nature and how was as humans connect to it. She is most well known for her trees with exposed roots, a reminder for each of us to expose and celebrate our own roots.

April has learned the joy of ‘letting go’ and exploring through creativity. Painting has helped her to personally express emotion and find balance. She feels that not everyone has to be a professional artist but everyone can be creative! She is looking forward to sharing the joy of letting the creative juices flow at uBlossom!
